Just read what you said about us two on your userpage! I guess we do seem to argue a lot on the forum. At the time of writing I've done about 110 posts and 89 of them are arguing with you or your ideas somehow! Well I'll try to be more considerate of your ideas in future mars!

Hey Mars, i saw your uploaded schome logo, which looks awesome. The only problem is that it has the OU logo in it (which not even Peter is allowed to use without the uni's permission!). I fear you may be told to remove this :( Perhaps replace the OU logo for a picture of Peter's avatar head?!

I did wonder if I was allowed to put it in and sent Peter an IM, but he never got bnack to me. I'll have a think about what else could go there, is it possible to change the colour of it, to the Schome purple or is this still a no-no? --Marsbar9 Schomer 12:47, 21 September 2007 (BST)

no - the university branding team is in charge of the logo and the OU "colour scheme" (!) and we get a right earful if we use it in an unauthorised way which includes a whole number of penickety things: using it without telling them, altering the logo in any way [removing the writing, changing colours, changing the ratio], altering the position of the logo [apparently the logo has to be within 1/4 length of itself from any other writing or borders near it], etc etc blah blah blah! We had a student event on campus last year and had to remove the OU logo from all our flyers and posters advertising the event, they are really annoyingly pedantic about the use of the OU logo. They even have a huge textbook written with all the rules and regs on how to use the OU logo LOL! --Beccaw 10:53, 22 September 2007 (BST)

it kinda implies you don't have to be a genuine kind of person, and that you can lie to ppl about who you are. I take it you don't mean it like that!!! Do you mean people get to meet the real you without having to physically meet you???? I dunno, i would suggest rephrasing just the last few words of that sentence.

I know you uploaded these earlier in the week - but i've been too busy here in Finland to be nosing around the wiki!

Just thought i'd drop by and mention i'm loving the Learning through gaming.jpg and the Knowledge Age Skills.jpg. They both look very professional as far as my "I don't have an artistic bone in my body" opinion goes....

Hey, i've been trying to follow Trixxiee's turtorial on how to upload pics to the wiki. But when i try to follow it i end up going in a giant circle:

upload file > log on > upload file > log on > upload file > log on etc

even though i am already logged on to the wiki.

Is there another way of uploading files without using the "upload file" button from the toolbox, cos it just keeps directing me to the log on to the wiki page? --Beccaw 22:43, 27 October 2007 (BST)

I think I probably still hold "most wiki edits/new pages in 24 hours" from when I moved and categorised all personal pages into subpages in the first place - something I see is still being done (yay!). Was thinking that maybe the text was too dark a colour (i think you have it in grey). Some people may have problems reading it (if they have dyslexia or problems differentiating between different colours). Newsletter article

Of course you can include my pictures in the newsletter. Are you asking me to write about how I created the actual drawings on paper or how I created the characters look and their personalities? I'm a little confused. If it is the latter, I will probably write about character design and how to make a unique character and their personality. I was also wondering if that subject (character design) was all right to write about. Finally, I was wondering how long this article should be. Please reply as soon as possible. Thanks.
