The schome community
The creation of Schome is dependent upon the development of shared understandings about what the aims of education should be and a vision about how best to achieve those aims in the 21st century. The Schome community is the vehicle for building such shared understandings.
The Schome community is also the powerhouse through which Schome will become a reality - we need a critical mass in order to be effective.
All in all we need your input.
Anyone can become part of the Schome community - simply by taking part in Schome-related discussions and activities. That might simply mean reading about Schome and talking with your friends and colleagues about it - or you could become more actively involved by contributing to:
- this wiki
- the discussions in the Schome community forum
- joining one of our meetings or other events (see the calendar and Schome events discussion)
- taking part in activities on our islands in Second Life and Teen Second Life (SchomeBase and Schome Park respectively)
- getting involved in one of our projects (we are always keen to collaborate)
