Schome Wiki and Forum Barnstars

Introduction

This page holds all the awards that can be given to a member of the Schome community. If you think someone has achieved something special, or they have met the criteria for an award, then copy the code of the required "barnstar" and insert it on that person's talk page. It is important that it is on the talk page and not the userpage as not everyone likes userpages being edited. It is up to that user to move it to their main page.

When awarding a barnstar, remember togive a little piece of text explaing why you've given the award. Be bold! The following are some of the barnstars and awards currently in use. The same Barnstar can be awarded more than once, by the same person, for instance if someone did something for you more than once you can give them the acknowledgement Barnstar twice. If you don't think any of these cover the topics you are looking for, you can always design your own award (using these examples, if you like).

Remember: Anyone can give out Barnstars! You don't have to be a member of staff! Be bold!

Default Barnstar

This can be used to create additional barnstars.

Barnstar	Description/criteria
	This is the default barnstar, that we used to create the others. If you want to give a Barnstar for something, but there isn't one created already, feel free to use this, but remember to explain why you've given that Barnstar!

Forum

These Barnstars are used for achievements or activities on the forum.

Post Levels

Schome Barnstar		The default Schome colours on a Barnstar.
20 forum posts award		If you reach 20 posts on the forum, you can use this Barnstar.
50 forum posts award		If you reach 50 posts on the forum, you can use this Barnstar.
100 forum posts award		If you reach 100 posts on the forum, you can use this Barnstar.
1000 forum posts award		If you reach 1000 posts on the forum, you can use this Barnstar.
2000 forum posts award		If you reach 2000 posts on the forum, you can use this Barnstar.
5000 forum posts award		If you reach 5000 posts on the forum, you can use this Barnstar.

Wiki

Strand Specific

A strand coordinator might like to award their Barnstar for specific strand related activities, attending a lot of sessions or helping out.

Media award		This can be given if someone has worked hard in the area of media, come up with session ideas or attending regular sessions. (as well as for other things)
MindGamer award		This is awarded for helping on the Mindgames strand
Ecologist award		This is awarded for working hard in the Eco strand
Archeologist award		This is awarded for helping out/working hard in the area of Archaeology.
Phisicist Award		This is awarded for helping out in the Physics strand
Geography award		This is awarded for helping out/working hard in the area of geography

Post Levels

These Barnstars show when a user has reached a level of contributions to the wiki.

Editing, upkeep and uploading

There are people who work on the wiki non stop, then there are those who occaisonally contribute, but their contributions are essential. There are also those who constantly upload images and other media to create a rich variety of things to use.

Userpage award		This is awarded for creating your own userpage and filling it with some form of content
Photographer award		This Barnstar can be given to those who work hard taking pictures and uploading them to the wiki, giving a wide variety of images and media to use.
Template award		This Barnstar is for those who work hard on templates and categories, trying to tidy the wiki page up so that it is more accessible.
Wiki-cleaner award		This Barnstar is for those who spend time working to tidy up pages within the wiki, which is an essential job in keeping the Wiki current and accessible.
Giver award		This Barnstar is given if you have donated 20 or more barnstars to other people. You may give this to yourself, but remember to post your name and reason when leaving barnstars otherwise we won't know if you have donated 20 or not!
Golden Giver award		Given to people who have donated 50 or more barnstars to other people. Same guidelines apply as to the giver award
Reciever award		This is awarded for reciving 20 or more Barnstars
Graphics award		This is awarded for work on graphic and scripting design in the wiki
Director award		This is awarded to those who have uploaded videos to the wiki
Busy bee award		This is awarded if you have created or filled 5 or more wiki pages, feel free to give this one to yourself if you have done so
Barnstar creator award		This is awarded for the creation of a barnstar by the use of premade or generic barnstars. You may give this to yourself if you have created a barnstar and placed it on this wiki page

Seals of approval

Faz's Seal of Approval		This Barnstar is given to wiki pages approved by Faz Schomer
Achilles' Seal of Approval		This is given to wiki pages approved by achilles schomer (Cooler than Ice)
Aston's Seal of Approval		This is given to wiki pages approved by Aston Schomer

Miscellaneous

THS member		This is given when a member is identified as a Hawaiian Shirt member by the Member Coordinator (Marsbar9)
Helper! award		Awarded to those who helped someone, or made them feel welcome.
Scripter award		Awarded to someone who has done a lot of work creating scripts
Vroom! award		Awarded to people who have successfully created vehicles
SPTC member		This is given to people who are in the SPTC
