Overview:

1. Just coming along to listen/read the chat is fine. You are most welcome.

2. If you wish to take a more active part, please bring along a poem (or perhaps two or three shorter items such as nursery rhymes, haiku, limericks, etc.)

3. You can paste your item straight into the chat window when it's your turn, or simply distribute prepared notecards.

4. Anybody willing and brave enough to give a live reading to the group will be held in awe forever.*

5. Please be prepared to discuss the history and meaning of the piece, if you know it, and also what personal significance it has for you. 


* - It's very important that we encourage
participation without the risk of
embarrassment.
For this reason anyone silly enough to
heckle will be ejected from the region
instantly.
