Notes from the event
After the event, add notes or a summary here Loads of people came and we had an excellent time although I don't think anybody remembered about the notecard - a bit of a pity. We talked mainly about the eruptions of Vesuvius, Pliny's eye witness account and archaeology of Pompeii and Herculaneum. A discussion of preserved graffiti on a wall in Pompeii led us also to the Ruthwell cross.
