Venue: SPbeta on the seats in the Pagoda by the waterfall
Max: 20
Organiser: Kreila Tran and Kayla Sparker
Overview:
This is the fourth of a series of four planned events where SParkers get a chance to share their views, knowledge and experience of managing their work in Schome Park. By the end of the four events, the goal will be to develop an information management skills toolkit using the wiki, and other tools, which will be available for all SParkers to use and to build on to support their projects and activities.
Session Four: Defining and building the Information Management Skills Toolkit
Overview: Envisioning the Toolkit.
This session will scope the form and content of our Toolkit. There will be a debate on the potential to trial a "games based learning" approach to information management skills development and evaluate the benefits to adopting this approach in Schome Park.
- Session One, Tuesday 5th February 2008: How do SParkers currently organise and manage their activities in Schome Park?
- Session Two, 19th February 2008:Using interviews for information gathering and scoping further work
- Session Three, Tuesday 4th March 2008: Methods and techniques: Participatory Action Research
