Overview:
A series of four planned events where SParkers get a chance to share their views, knowledge and experience of managing their work in Schome Park. By the end of the four events, the goal will be to develop an information management skills toolkit using the wiki, and other tools, which will be available for all SParkers to use and to build on to support their projects and activities.
Session One: How do SParkers currently organise and manage their activities in Schome Park?
Overview: This session will focus on debating various approaches SParkers use to create, manage, organise and share experiences and resources with each other.
The session will focus on answering the following questions:
What types of information to SParkers consider useful when working in Schome Park e.g how do you find out how to build and script?
How easy is it to organise information and relate it so you can easily find it again and share it with others if you want to?
Why is it important to acknowledge your information sources?
What types of approaches do SParkers take to evaluate information and resources when undertaking project or activity work in SPark?
- Session Two, 19th February 2008: Using interviews for information gathering and scoping further work
- Session Three, Tuesday 4th March 2008: Methods and techniques: Participatory Action Research
- Session Four, Tuesday 18th March 2008: Defining and building the Information Management Skills Toolkit
