Venue: Japanese Garden in Alpha
Max: no limit
Organisers: Eli and Elsa
Overview:
Baghchal is a Nepali strategy game involving tigers and goats - you can read more about it here. In Nepal it is played all over the place, sometimes with fancy boards and beautifully detailed tigers and goats, and often just with sticks and stones on a board drawn in the ground. Because it is a game of strategy rather than chance it has all sorts of embedded math's lessons, and we thought it would be a fun thing to create and script, and then to play in teams.
We have put some session dates and times on the Events page and we need all the help we can get with both building and scripting. If you have particular skills to offer, comments or suggestions, please post in the space opposite. Otherwise feel free to show up to a session and negotiate a task :o)
(I bags making the goats though - Elsa)
