What sort of stuff do you want in your museum - I ask cos I know that the archaeology strand were planning to use the big temple building (between the Scho-Op and Hadrian's Wall) as a museum - maybe you should talk with them and take a lead on developing that???

There's a lot of interesting stuff around 'virtual museums' talked about on the web.

(One of my areas of work is how museums plan and build digital experiences)

Here's a possibly interesting read:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/03/10/AR2006031002342.html

"It's not wrong to wonder ... whether a museum site modelled after the populist photo-sharing flickr - with favorite artifacts and amateur points of view - would diminish an institution's reputation. The bigger question for all museums is how to flourish if they don't."

I wanted some other options in the poll ...

Maybe just an 'Other (please post a message to explain)' option ...

One area that might be interesting to think about is what cultures or cultural activity it would be good to showcase in the museum.

Second Life culture.. The development of Schome Park.. Interaction with Schome Park... all of these might be areas for the msueum to consider including, or arranging objects and artefacts around.

I guess the philosophical question I'd like marsbar9 (and others) to respond to is  - "what is a museum"?  :)
