Schome Park Newbie
« on: January 09, 2008, 04:54:10 PM »
Hi. I'm Jethro. I'm from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA).  I'm going to start this project when the park opens up on the 15th.  Im going to need somebody (like a buddy) to show me the ropes and all that jazz.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

                                                                              Thanks, Jethro

*avoids saying Hey, welcome to schome by saying Hi, have a great time at Schome! ;)*

I think all these LACHSA people must be coming on at their school cos they are all posting intros at the same time :-\  *wonders how long he can avoid saying 'welcome to schome'

To →ƒªz←:  Yeah, it's a class project for us, so that's why we're all doing it at the same time.  It's actually kinda hectic

Ach-population with computers wise, Britain doesn't stand a chance.  ;)

Anyway, Guten Tag, and welcome to the wonders of schome.

Sounds it :P

We've had some students from new jersey join us, who are basically doing the same thing as you. I'm wondering if this is the right way of approaching schools abroad as with teachers and peers around you are less likely to be yourself.

P.S Of course Britain stands a chance, remember WW2? Just replace brainwashed Nazi's with friendly Americans lol (not that I have anything against the German culture or people)

Hi Jethro.

I'm assuming that this is not your real name and that you have used your initiative and signed yourself up for the forum.

I have emailed the teacher we are working with in your school to sort out your identity so that we can get you set up with a Schomer username.

Looking forward to working with you (once I'm sure that you have returned consent forms etc).   :)

PeterT
PS Please do not reveal your real name in the forum - that would be a breach of the AUP.
