Schome and Second Life

Using the wiki

Several of the participants actually made these tutorials, in order to help new comers to the site.

Navigating the wiki and forum

Like what you see?

We are always looking for more teenagers to get involved and join us in virtual reality on the Teen Grid of Second Life and here in the wiki and forum. Why not send a message to one of the staff on the Schome forum to find out more? Or if you want to join in the fun on SPii, get your parents to email schome-sl-help@open.ac.uk ...

Did you know?

That the Schome forum has 408 registered members? (13 October 2007). Come and join in, let us know your opinions about the future of education!

Did you know we're a cross-cultural project?

With participants coming from The Falklands and a group of Americans joining us in the very near future, we're a very cross cultural project. To celebrate this, a culture week has long been in the works, and with new friends, we're getting one step closer to organising it.

The Americans are joining us soon

Schome

Schome Poster(withemail).jpg

Schome is going to be a new form of educational system designed to overcome the problems within current education systems. It will meet the needs of society and individuals in the twenty-first century and will be a system which values and supports people learning throughout their lives.

Schome Park Projects

Among these, several SParkers are continuing with projects of their own interests, and also continuing with projects that officially ended when NAGTY stopped their funding.
