[[Image:schomeart1.jpg|280px|left]] Schomers on the adult grid of Second Life have been putting together an art exhibition that opens formally at 9pm on Thursday the 11th December and ends at 9pm on the 13thThere is a giant platform in the sky above SchomeBase, supporting 15 separate plots including 14 very varied exhibits and one Schome Infopod (accessed by a ride on the Schome mini-railway!). This exhibition represents a huge amount of work and effort and is well worth a visit. Schome - Research into transformative education systems

Schome is an ongoing research initiative which is working to develop a 'fit for purpose' education system for society today. We are working on developing a system which will support people learning throughout their lives, from the cradle to the grave. Unlike other initiatives to transform education, the Schome Initiative takes the view that you needed to start with a vision of the ideal education system that would genuinely meet the needs of society and individuals in the 21st century, unconstrained by preconceptions of existing education systems.
