King Edward VI Community College
This 'secondary school' in Totnes (Devon, UK) has scrapped normal subject based lessons for its Year 7 pupils - instead they study 'themes' in two hour lessons (the exception being for modern languages and PE which are still taught as discrete subjects). The aim being to enhance the students' independent learning skills.
