With Peter Twining, I co-direct The ASPIRE Pilot at the Open University, where I develop courses for teachers, teaching assistants and others working with children and young people. I also research creativity in education and am passionate about changing the educational landscape so that creativity has a much higher profile in the learning experiences of young people. This includes thinking more creatively about how we could support learning in the future - by thinking beyond schools. The ASPIRE Pilot is pivotal to this - and I am enjoying the ways that our two pilot groups at St Boniface's in Plymouth, Cornwall and at Woodlands in Basildon, Essex, are starting to develop provocations for themselves and for others to get the possibilities flowing!
