Talk:NOUbie Welcome Centre
- I'm assuming that 'Open University group members' is being interpreted broadly - and includes anyone who is a member of the Schome Educators group as well. ;O) PeterT 11:51, 12 July 2008 (BST)

- Agree with Julia. Sorry to sound grumpy too ... (have been feeling a bit grumpy for a while, but was too shy to put anything here till I saw Julia's comment). I do feel it is shame that SchomeBase is no longer dedicated to showcasing and advancing the Schome initiative. Schome has already attracted interest very widely and has had considerable influence. It seems as though Schome ideas and achievements are being 'hidden away'. Amba / Shri 08:17, 17 July 2008 (BST)
- Please feel free to come along to a meeting we have arranged at the centre on Friday 18th July at 8pm BST to voice your concerns. It is not the intention of the OU group to take over or exclude anyone so If we can accomodate the interests of everyone, we would welcome your participation. Perhaps we can all benefit from the increased activity? / Becka 10:00, 17 July 2008 (BST)
- The only information there ever was on the island about Schome is still there at the point of teleport, and I have been saying for ages (admittedly mostly out loud to myself) that's something I need to develop. I would be grateful for any help in doing so - if anyone has any input I can get it done a lot quicker. When the nOUbies Centre is up and running we will route the teleport through there, and it can contain all the information about Schome that we want. I hope you will both (and any other Schomers of course) come to the meeting this evening :o) Elsa, 18th July 08.
