Role within project

The OU team devised the project and are responsible for the research elements of it. In addition the OU team is providing:

• the basic infrastructure to support the project, including:
  • Schome Park (and island in Teen Second Life) with amenities for students to use
  • the schome community wiki (where students can find out about how to do things in Schome Park and can document their experiences)
  • the schome community forum (where students can discuss any aspect of the project - and engage in the wider debate about schome)
  • the SLog - a tool for adding to your SLog webpage whilst still in-world
• support for staff and students on the project (a minimum of 2 hours per day in-world)
