This page provides links to a number of Becta funded research projects that are exploring the use of ICT to enhance education. If you want to discuss these projects - or indeed any aspect of the potential role of ICT in enhancing learning or in our education systems then check out the ICT in Education discussion board.

Hmm - this is probably a bit subversive - cos I suspect Becta have an official page for this sort of info (or will do at some point) but isn't that the joy of Web 2.0?! ;O)

The Schome Park Project This project is exploring the educational potential of the Teen Second Life world, within the context of schome (not school - not home - schome - the education system for the information age). It has a particular focus on 'measuring' the development of 'knowledge age skills' (such as leadership, communication, problem solving, etc) Peter Twining
