how did we get from tea to this??
Because it's the E&P forum! :P

And I have an argument against the idea of your senses feeding you made-up information - surely such a construct would have a load of discrepancies in it?

ah but can you're existence be proven?

I think, therefore I am.

Isn't it weird when you think someone says you're name but nobody said anything?

Yep. But it normally happens when I would hardly be able to hear them if they did say it (eg, if I have my fan and music on at the same time :P). 'Tis probably to do with your brain thinking that someone should shout you some time, then it starts thinking they did :P

The problem of defining your own existance is rather a tricky one, and i'd ask everyone to be careful here, your wandering round a big black hole known as Paranoid Schziophrenia!

Anyway, you can no more prove the existance of another being no more then you can say 'thats blue'
when it could, in fact, be green, to someone elses perspective, yet they call green 'blue' (a theory has popped up, saying that some objects and colours orginated due to what they look like, so someone may not call blue, green, (it has also been thoersied that our Ancestors were almost entirely synthiniac!)

If that was true, however, i'd expect Wheelo to have a heavy brow and long, hairy arms! :p

and, Faz, I did warn you I have an effect on people!

You do have an effect on people, but not much of an effect on me seeing as I'm already on the brink of insanity

??? Anyway does thinking you're the last sane person in the world make you insane?

Just curious.

haha is it really?
In tennis you have to react as quickly as possible to win the game..

So what you're saying is you're definition of sanity is normality?
Curious.

As what is considered normal varies from context to context does that mean that I could be considered sane in one culture and insane in another?
