Sorry about going off on one but i think i need to make a statement on how this government has to change for the better.

  • We need more people involved, dont be afraid to post your thought even if you think it is runnish or what ever you think, there are no good or bad, no right or wrong,, no stupid or smart ideas.
  • We need less "leaders" ie people not trying to conclude thetopic, trying to have the last word in etc....

When you say leaders...

Why is concluding a topic acting leaderish or having the last word leaderish???

I think Baso is making a lot of sense - the more people involved in the governance discussions the better - it is also vital to have leaders who help coordinate discussions and bring them to a conclusion.

PS What is the mod issue re Baso?

I hope my colleagues over in safety will post at least one thing!
Perhaps they have gone off of the forums and wiki lately because of the SP island closed

Baso was against leaders as far as I can tell from his post. But concluding a topic is one thing we do need.

I would like to know why some people are moderators of the whole government section? How did they get those priveledges?

I don't mean the individual department moderators, the OVERALL government moderators

I agree. We're all for away from leadership, but having overall mods gives the impression of importance.

We are mods for the governance board, but not the individual departments boards.
It doesnt give the impression that we are in charge, it is merely that way because we are the ones that set up the board and it needs moderators.

We are not trying to take over, the board just need mods like all the others

Moderator = leader = power

OR

Moderator = person doing lots of work in the background to help the discussion flow = servant

 ???

Having been moderator/administrator on other forums, I'd go for the latter. Especially with admins, they have to do a lot of work to keep a board going smoothly and making sure everyone follows the rules and whatnot. It's hard work, being an admin. ;)
