Option One: Emailing nominations to a staff member/non-voter who then will post them on the wiki.
This involves the technical support staff setting up an email address that will be directed either to a staff or a non-voting SParker, and we email our nominations for the government to this address, and the reciever posts them onto a page in the wiki.
Option Two: A scripted object in SL that will store votes and who has voted
This would involve someone scripting an object that would store who has voted, and will count votes for a specific person. Would be non-tamperable, but someone would need to script it.
Option Three: Open nominations on the forum then ballots in a poll
This involves having a topic in the private area where everyone can post nominations for the various areas of the government, and if they have at least 2 nominations (by diffferent people), they would be put forward for a ballot done by polls, so there would be a poll for the 'building/planning dept', and all the people who had been nominated for that would be on a poll, with the top 4 or so being in the dept after a set period of voting.
What we need to decide now, apart from how to do it, are all the technicalities: are we going to be able to nominate one person for each department, more than one person for each department, one vote in total, will it be the top however many going through?
