responsibility?
« on: April 06, 2007, 05:28:36 PM »
just another crazy idea.

how about when we open up to the main grid we give the experienced SParkers more responsibility's
e.g being able to return objects or chat logging.
and if we mke a total cock up of the situation those privallages are revoked?

Hey Faz- it's a fair comment and the kind of thing we're keen folk chat about. Incidently, I think everybody can enable chat logging - it's not a particular ability the staff avatars have got. Go to Preferences>Communications I think and tick the boxes...

If you are logging chat then it is essential that you make sure that everyone knows this - it is very definitely against Linden Labs rules to log chat without having the permission of the people involved.

I did not know that. I'm finding myself learning new things about SL every day.

I was chatting to Mark about chatlogging the other day.

Both of us have logged chat (in other applications) for work purposes.
A company I used to work for had all its employees working from home half the week, and we all logged our work IMs to remember what we'd agreed to do as our part in whatever we were creating.

And if you've ever had to take meeting minutes or record discussions on other ways, being able to log is just awesome. Whatever did we do before computers etc etc ....? (though i've been lucky - only my first job was non-webby)
