Hi Estella - I'm sure someone will volunteer to be your buddy very soon. What sorts of things are you looking forward to doing in Schome?

We got it yesterday Lol
They made us go outside onto a feild, it is a real wind trap. We have on teacher who come out in shorts like us, came out with us but the other teacher came out 10 minutes later, and even then he came out in a full tracksuit and hat scarf and gloves. The man then made us face so we were in the wind and started lecturing us on football (which consiculy gave me a leval 1 last term :P)

I like football, our system of grading for PE is pathetic though because the people who are acctually good at the sport and put the effort in get lower grades than the people who aren't good at it but put effort in. I suppose because they think it takes more effort to try a sport that you're not that good at, which isn't right at all!

Can't say I've been given any form of numeric level for anything in years (excluding marks out of 10/20/40/100/137)... >.>

My school does A-D achievement and 1-4 effort separately, with lower values being 'preferable', and effort focused on more than achievement-although personally I prefer getting A4s-doing well without even trying (my family has something of a meme on ability > effort). To be honest, hardly anyone cares about the school's indicators-the actual results are far more important.

Slightly off topic...  :-\

you see my parents worry more about the effort ratings than the attainment.
