Hi,

I've posted a new E&P session on the wiki for next Thursday (6th Dec).
The topic is 'Human Rights' - if you'd like to come along please follow the link below and put your name down on the wiki:

E&P5

I hope that we can use this session to discuss the fundamental questions of what it means to have rights, what rights we really have, and where we get them from. There is huge scope then to talk about these issues in relation to human rights claims in specific political situations - I think this would probably throw up enough material to warrant a session in itself, so I may post a follow-up once we see how this one goes...
Hope to see some of you there,

Ronnie

maybe use the curren Sudan case and corpral punishment/ guantanimo bay as a example (If its of any intrest someone has built a virtual guantanimo on the adult MG. You are given a HUD when you walk in and a orange suit apperantly they also have RL lawyers of people in guantanimo in there talking to people, it might be worth a look for pics etc ronnie. And i found out via the NS articale.)

That's cool, what kind of time would suit you guys best (and still be sensible for us)? I've always put them at this time more out of habit than anything, guess they could be a bit later...
Will keep this one as is, but hopefully we can find a good time for everyone for the next session  :)

looks like 8-9pm UK time will probably be best for future sessions then, will go for this unless anyone has any objections?
