Hi,

Just to let you know I have posted a new Philosophy discussion session on the Wiki Events page. This is for Wednesday 22nd August from 7-8pm in the Spii Japanese garden.
This session is to discuss the question of whether we really have free will to make independent choices. I hope this topic will give a good starting point to go off in whatever direction people prefer, I 've listed some questions you might like to think about on the event listing in the Wiki.
Hopefully see some of you there.

I'm glad to see the Ethics & Philosophy sessions have returned, but sadly this session is to late in the evening for me to get onto a computer  :'(. Still, hopefully there will be others...

sorry to hear that, if the general consensus is that this is too late for many people I will try to move it earlier...

I'm into ethics and philosophy, I'll try to get online then (That should be 2-3pm for me down here in the Falklands, so I should be fine getting online)

Great, hope to see you there. At the moment that still only makes three of us, so I'll keep an eye on how many sign up and we can decide nearer the time if there are enough to make it worthwhile. I hope so.

In any case I'd like to get the Ethics and Philosophy sessions going on a regular basis again, as they seemed to be popular in the past. Please let me know any suggestions for topics you'd like to cover.
Hopefully there will be more people around to join in once the summer holiday is over...

I'd like to attend as well, and should be able to make the time set.

Cool. For anyone who can definitely make it, it would be great if you could put your name down on the Wiki (the session is listed under Schome Park events for W/C Monday 20th August) so I can get an idea of how many there might be.
Thanks.

I'll very likely be able to go (and I would like to!)

I think we went slightly onto this topic in one of the SPi E&P sessions, but we didn't have a proper session on it.

Unfortunately, the grid seems to be down and has been for a lot longer than it was supposed to be, unless my computer has gone wrong.  :(
