Hello - Mark Frank
« on: September 19, 2006, 06:47:58 AM »
I am a freelance learning and development consultant and spent most of my life in corporate learning and training. I represent NESTA on the ASPIRE project (they are paying for the pilot). I asked to be involved because I am deeply interested in the future of education.

I am also a long standing OU student - just completing a diploma in statistics and just done the first year of an MSc in Science Studies.

Oh yes - I am a keen amateur actor and director.

Hi Mark, thanks for posting an intro message.

In case anyone is wondering - The Aspire Pilot, to which Mark referred, is a project working with young people thinking about how to develop creative yet grounded visions of schome.

Hi Mark,
Nice to meet you. I have always wanted to continue my studies. Could you tell me more about the OU and how it has worked for you?
I did 6 months training as a clown and enjoyed immensely wearing a red nose :-)
