But we agreed that Emodalek could be a buddy.

There are criteria somewhere for joining The Hawaiian Shirts. I think it basically involves being involved in Schome for three months or more and being active in forum, wiki and in world.

Remember that you don't have to be a buddy in order to help folk out ... (and the key to being a Hawaiian Shirt is that you are seen as being someone who is an established member of the community - so you understand the community's norms and are making an active contribution to it's growth and well being through your activities in the wiki, forum and Schome Park itself).

Remember too that anyone can organise a meeting in-world about anything (within PG limits) - this might just be a social meeting for new people or a session to help folk with particular in-world skills or .... So you don't need to be a Hawaiian shirt to get stuck in and organise events/activities.

The Schome Park Events page is where all scheduled events are publicised - and anyone in the community can edit that page to add an event ...

Also remember that all events in Schome Park are open to anyone in the Schome Park community - so feel free to go along and get involved in any of the events ...

It's fantastic to see new members of the community wanting to help people out - nice one Jpskater777  8)
(not forgetting Elmodalek - though I hardly think of him as new any more  ;) )
