Hey everyone

I was thinking of having a meeting in-world so that it can be our first official meeting.
We can then sort out regular times for individual meetings, open parliament etc

What do you think?

What we need to do is find a time and day that everyone can attend, because i think everyone should be there.

Well, me getting there for a meeting and managing to stay there should be rather...interesting. Which is going to be really annoying because I like attending meetings I feel left out if I can't lol. So...from that point of view it'll be an experience...

But yes, it's a good idea, and I think we do need to have a meeting.

Having held two large meetings, it doesn't take that long to organise. Getting an agenda is the most important thing, but once that's done you just have to choose a day and stick to it, no matter how many people ask you to change.

A government meeting would be very useful, hopefully we can all work together on some of the larger issues facing, or about to face, SPii. I'm kind of booked most of the coming week, but I might be able to come on Tuesday or Thursday, the former before 7, the latter later in the evening.

An in-world meeting would be good - would be good also to see if we can extend the discussion (for those who can't make the face to face meeting) by carring on some of the discussions in the forum (perhpas for a set period of time) - so maybe it could go something like this:

  • Agenda posted in forum
  • Discussions start in forum
  • F2F meeting in SPii - building on initial discussions in forum
  • Notes from meeting posted in forum
  • 2 more days of discussion about agenda items in forum
  • Someone summarises the discussions in the forum

If we stick with the notion of framing items in the agenda as questions then the summary at the end would be in the form of answers to the questions in the agenda (perhaps with a brief summary for each question of the arguments on each side before the answer is presented).

Don't know whether this would work or not - but would be interesting to try it out and see ...
