1  Schome / Introductions / It's been a while on: October 28, 2009, 11:20:35 AM
I wasn't sure where to post this, so into the introductions section it goes!

Hey everybody, long time no see! I notice that things are a little quiet around here as of late, but I thought I'd check in and see how things are going. My eighteenth birthday is fast approaching (just over a week to go!) and I guess that means that I won't be able to come on here anymore, I'm not sure, but it seemed that it was about time for me to come back. My health has been pretty icky over the last year or so, although it's definitely begun to improve again recently, and though it's been a long process, things definitely seem to be on the up. I'm currently studying online, although I'm a couple of years behind where I should be because of my health, and it's going well. I'm also volunteering for AYME, which I'm really enjoying.

What are the plans for Schome for the future, and will there be options for those of us who will be over eighteen to be involved?

I hope that everything's going well, and it's nice to be back!
Trix

This topic lays out the criteria for becoming a Hawaiian Shirt - you need 20 posts in addition to the other criteria to be considered as a Hawaiian Shirt.

This site translates whatever you put into it into about seven different languages before translating back to English (or it might translate into English between the other languages, I can't remember). However, it's highly amusing, as nothing ever comes out the same as the text you put in. :P

Well, it is entirely possible. But I've not weighed it, nor am I likely to. :P

Actually, I agree. But that's the fault of iTunes and iPods. Either way, my mock was nice and easy, which was great after my awful English one.

I'm doing the IGCSE too; having no coursework is great. And my mock was really easy too, despite the huge amount of school I've missed. Not that I've got it back yet, so I might have thought it was easy because I was doing it all wrong. ;)

And I don't have to carry my maths stuff at all, so the weight is irrelevant. I win :P

Hi, welcome to schome :)

What sort of dance do you like to do? I love ballet, and I used to do it a lot, until I managed to injure myself! I still like to watch it though. I'm sure there are other people on here who like dancing, and I think there's a plan to get people singing in Schome Park ;)
